Happy Trails Jake

Tonight saw one of the bigger surprises of the season with the eviction of Jake.  He was very well liked by the house, but ultimately his downfall was likely that he wasn't polarizing enough.  Most of the time he was a bystander in confrontations and gossip.  There was no big surprise about innocent Skye getting saved.  Now I definitely want Lisa to follow close behind Jake.  In other news, drama continued to swirl around Cat taking Lawson into the sanctuary.  As Jason said, most people in the house said Cat shouldn't have taken Lawson, and Lawson shouldn't have gone.  I imagine potential emotional cheating will severely harm Lawson's and Cat's image outside the house.  And we got to see the hilarious Big Brother Hotel task.  This featured the nominees getting a luxurious week, while the others had to be like a hotel staff.  Travis and David took full advantage, throwing sarcasm and medial tasks in the staff's direction.  It will definitely be fun to watch them all grovel in an attempt to earn the bonus money.  Evictions happen tomorrow, and then a new round a nominations will follow.

Sparks Fly

There was quite a bit of drama in the house this episode.  Firstly, Cat was named the new Head of House, which I like.  Leo revealed he isn't as close as many people thought he was with Lisa, which doesn't surprise me.  Finally, the party is where the real magic happened.  Cat, Lisa, and Travis all talked in the tree house about protecting each other and making an alliance, but I doubt that will last until nominations.  David got Skye emotional by saying he feels like and outsider, then got into a verbal altercation with Lisa.  Both seemed shaken up afterward, but the real damage was done in the eyes of the house.  And lastly, Cat took Lawson into the sanctuary, and appeared to be making out with him as the episode ended.  That would be quite controversial in the eyes of the viewers.  This would also cause drama among the other house mates, if they were in fact kissing and the story gets out.

Leo as a Housemate

The novelty of Leo has certainly worn off throughout the house, and people are actually becoming quite annoyed with him.  It appears he has to monopolize every conversation, which really grinds people.  He should be careful when talking about food too, as that's pretty much how Dion found his way out of the house.  Priya still appears to be the biggest game player, which I love.  I wish more people would wake up and start playing strategically instead of emotionally.

Happy Trails to Dion and Katie

Sorry I haven't been posting hardly at all but I have been busy.  Anyway, a lot of stuff has gone down recently.  There are love triangles, forbidden love, and even an intruder.  Firstly though, Dion and Katie were both evicted.  Neither of these evictions surprise me, as Dion we very vanilla in the house and Katie was very confrontational.   I personally am not torn up about either one going home.  Sandra seems to have cooled her jets on the pursuit of Sam after her confession to him, which was probably a good idea as nobody likes a home wrecker.  On that same subject, Cat told Lawson that she likes him, and it went about as well as expected.  Lawson acted like he had no idea about this, but I have a hard time believing that.  Finally, a new housemate entered!! His name is Leo, and he actually speaks with a North American accent.  It will be interesting to watch how he changed the game.  He could possibly change some of the love triangle scene.  He also appears to have come into the house with the intention of winning, which currently seems to be limited to just Jason, Priya, Lawson, and Leo.  Definitely hoping to see Lisa go home this week.

Nominations

So the nominations happened several days ago, with Cat, Dion, Katie, Priya, and Travis all going up.  I wasn't surprised about Cat or Katie, due to their clash about the soda.  Travis and Priya also were rather easy targets.  I was quite surprised about Dion though, as I hadn't observed him being particularly annoying.  I was expecting either David or Lisa to go up instead.  That's about it for now, things rather quiet.  Will try to make updates daily after every episode.

Hello to all who have happened to stumble upon this blog.  This blog is about the television franchise Big Brother, as it is the most amazing show ever created.  I am from the United States, and thus can only provide an American's opinion of the international versions.  However, Derrick just won in America, as he absolutely deserved to.  Now its time to change gears, and watch the Australian version.
